Happysad is a rock band created in 2001 in Skarzysko-Kamienna in Poland. Musicians have played for 1995 year together however they decided to put in the latter part studies team, in 2002 year. First name of the band since 1995 was "HCKF" (Hard Core'owe Kolko Folozoficzne, eng. Hard Core Philosophical Circle) and from the 1997 they call themselves "Happy Sad Generation". The final name, Happysad, was created in 2002 in the year when the logo of the band was invented. "Happysad" is a combine rock, reggae and punk with characteristic lyrics, and over 250 concerts on account, with such performers like: Cult, Porno Pidzama, Hurt, Myslovitz, Habakuk or T. Love.

Also in 2002 "Happysad" recorded it's first demo with music, which later was turned up on the first album "Wszystko jedno"(eng. "whatever"). "Wszystko jedno" album (July 2004) recorded with S.P.Records was placed in 2007 on the list of 50 most important albums in polish rock. In September 2004 r. team began independent concert rout "Partyzantka Tour 2004" promoting material from debut album, visiting 25 cities. The second album "Podroze z i pod prad"("trips with current and upstream") was released in 2005.

In February and March 2005 happysad, Farben Lehre and Akurat, they played 17 concerts in frames rout Punky Reggae live which gained large support. On hotlist single work "Zanim pojde" he spended 33 weeks. Them second album from 2005 "Podrozee z i pod prad" met with great enthusiasm and appreciate with fans on the promotion tour. Happysad is wellknown to the rock concerts fans. In 2006 drummer, Maciek Sosniwski was changed to Jaroslaw Dubinski.

1st of September, during the SKARfesr annualy organised in Skarzysko, the band promoted his third album "Nieprzygoda". Recording was made with Studio S4 of Polish Radio, with help of S.P. Records. Leszek Kaminski was producer and coordinator of this album. Hospitably on the ring appeared Janusz Zdunek from "Kult" (trumpet), and Marcin Swiderski (keybord). In the second half of this semtember, "Nieprzygoda" achieved status of most wanted rock album in Poland. Currently, the band is in autumn promotion tour - Nieprzygoda Tour 2007, which include over 40 cities in whole country.
